UCT Partnership

Status

As of 23 April 2026: informal partnership, driven by Hasmukh's existing relationships with UCT department heads. No permission needed to proceed with the prototype — Hasmukh is the lead stakeholder and “we are pushing against an open door”.

Hasmukh is the sole contact channel to UCT. Do not contact UCT department heads directly; route everything through Hasmukh.

Content origin

All lectures on the platform are delivered by UCT academic staff as part of the Family Care Practitioner programme. MobiLearn records, edits, and hosts the video files. The content IP is effectively shared: UCT produces the content, MobiLearn packages and distributes.

Open items for Hasmukh

Confirm branding on the live platform: “MobiLearn CPD powered by UCT” or joint branding or something else.
Decide on revenue share structure if/when we monetise.
Formalise an MOU or content licence so the partnership survives personnel changes on either side.
Agree on attribution and logo usage guidelines for pathway pages and certificates.
