Summary
Hasmukh asked for the S2L logo to be more pronounced on the home page. After discussing placement, he chose to have the logo sit above the headline in the top banner, and asked that the previous look be reversible.
Decisions
- Logo placed above the headline in the top banner, not beside the phone picture.
- Logo shown on a clean white panel, because the banner background is dark and the logo has a built-in pale background.
- A backup of the previous look was saved first so the change can be reverted.
Changes made
- Saved a backup of the home page banner content and the custom styling into client-data/backups (timestamp 20260522-152003).
- First tried the logo above the headline in the top banner. Hasmukh felt this did not work well.
- Removed the above-the-headline logo, returning the top banner to its original state.
- In the footer, replaced the small S2L badge with the full colour logo on a clean white panel.
- Enlarged the footer logo at Hasmukh's request. He confirmed he is happy with it.
- Rebuilt the site styles so the changes are live.
Follow-ups
- Nothing outstanding.
- If the old footer badge is ever wanted back, restore from the 20260522-152003 backup.
