Session log — medistage deactivate "Read the full story" button
Summary
Hasmukh sent a screenshot of the founder section on the medistage homepage showing the "Read the full story →" button under Dr Hasmukh Gajjar's bio, and asked for the button to be deactivated.
Decisions
- Match the existing disabled-button pattern already used elsewhere on the same homepage (offering cards), rather than removing the button. This keeps visual consistency with the other inactive call-to-actions on the page.
- The button was converted from an anchor link to a non-clickable span, greyed out at 45% opacity with a not-allowed cursor and pointer-events disabled.
Changes made
- Backed up the homepage row (pm_content id=1) to client-data/backups before editing.
- Updated the homepage content on medistage.medilearn.africa: the link pointing to /about in the founder section is now an inactive button.
- Verified the change is live in the database.
Follow-ups
- Five session logs from 25 May 2026 are still in the publish queue and were not published in this session. They remain pending for the next run.
- If Hasmukh later wants the "Read the full story" link re-enabled (for example once an About page is ready), the disabled span can be swapped back to an anchor pointing to /about.
