Session log — Vangelis MacMini workspace catch-up

28 May 2026 · Hasmukh with Claude · auto-published from the local journal entry. A polished narrative version can be requested in any future Claude session.

Summary

Hasmukh opened the project from a different machine, the Vangelis MacMini, and asked for a review of the workspace and a summary of everything done so far. No site changes were made this session. The work was purely a status check, reading the recent session logs from iCloud and reporting back where both medistage and staging-medilearn stand.

Decisions

  • No new work was started. Hasmukh wanted a state-of-play snapshot before deciding what to pick up next.
  • Confirmed that the iCloud workspace is fully synced on the Vangelis MacMini, so all session logs, scripts, backups and credentials are present and up to date.

Changes made

  • None on the sites. No database edits, no file changes on either medistage or staging-medilearn.
  • Read the most recent session logs to build the catch-up summary. All 19 logs in the sessions-log folder are already published to documentation.mobilearn.africa, with matching .published markers in place.
  • Reported the current state of medistage in plain English: under-construction banner live, founder photograph in place, Setshedi caption added, new pre-recorded lectures page at /fcp-part-1-refresher-2026-lectures/ driven by the new ML Lectures plugin with 22 draft placeholders, plus the earlier tidy-ups (hidden Register Now button, deactivated Read full story and Offerings buttons, Recent Events banner, broadcast captions).
  • Reported that staging-medilearn has had no new work since the early May kickoff.

Follow-ups

  • Hasmukh to choose the next piece of work. Options on the table from the last session:
  • Populate the 22 lecture rows in the medistage admin (topic, presenter, description, set to Published).
  • Optionally link lectures to Speaker records later for photos and bios.
  • Optionally add Recording links once LMS or YouTube embeds are confirmed.
  • Optionally install ML Lectures on staging-medilearn when a lectures library is wanted there too.
